    Hey all...!

MUSIIK YouTube Software is the answer for all your questions... Read On...

    Powered by YouTube.
Muziic burst onto the digital music scene in 2009 after one year of development by Internet entrepreneurs Mark Nelson and David Nelson, who are not only best friends, but father and son.

The entirely self-funded project makes extensive usage of the YouTube API to deliver rich audio-visual content, forming the web's first ever "YouTube for Music".

    The Epiphany of Muziic

In recent years, the music community within YouTube has grown significantly. With YouTube, music fans are able to listen to all of their favorite tunes, and record labels are getting paid - a 'win-win' situation created by YouTube, and a picture that has been rarely seen in the age of the Internet.

Mark and David observed that while YouTube has embraced the music world and initiated the groundbreaking process that could potentially bring complete resolution to the conflicts of digital music, the YouTube end-user experience had not been optimized for a music fanatic.

By creating a YouTube-powered desktop media player and an accompanying community-driven website, the father-son team provided the YouTube music community with the perfect location to gather, thrive and have fun. On top of this, the Muziic "Encoder" allows users to re-encode MP3 files with album artwork as ready-to-upload video files in a manner that delivers unprecedented high quality stereo audio, and is easy for the user to use.

    Muziic Development

From the moment that Mark and David saw the opportunity to further improve the YouTube music experience, all efforts and focuses were shifted to Muziic, in a sense of urgency to launch the project into full swing as soon as possible. David went from public to private online high school to devote more time to the technical development behind Muziic.

The initial idea behind Muziic - to have a desktop media player powered by YouTube - expanded over time to implement nearly every feature that users are accustomed to within traditional media players such as Windows® Media Player or AOL® Winamp.

Muziic Encoder is included with each download of Muziic and allows users to simply drag and drop an MP3 audio file and optional JPG, PNG or BMP image file to the application. Muziic Encoder will output the result as a stereo FLV format video file, displaying their selected album artwork in the video. Muziic Encoder delivers the highest quality audio and little-to-no processing times for YouTube uploading.

Mark and David created the Muziic Channels Directory, a user-driven directory containing YouTube music channels sorted into genres based on their music content. Each channel is given a "Muziic Rank", determined by its overall channel popularity at Muziic. Users compete to have the highest rank, which places them closer to the top of the directory, and potentially in the Top 100.

Mark and David discovered both the impact and potential of YouTube playlists within the music community, and mirrored the functions of the Channels Directory to create the Muziic Playlists Directory, where YouTube playlists are sorted into genre and arranged by popularity.

Muziic "Protocol" allows direct communication between the Muziic.com website and a user's installed Muziic Player, by reserving a URI handler ("muziic:") for users who have installed Muziic Player. Throughout the site, various functions that interact with Muziic Player take advantage of Muziic Protocol. This allows users to "Import" playlists, channels, individual videos and more into their Muziic Player, directly from the Muziic website.

Muziic offers registered users the ability to link their YouTube accounts with Muziic, which in turn integrates their YouTube channel on Muziic with their "My Muziic", a social networking profile used throughout the Muziic website. Those who have linked their YouTube accounts can upload videos directly to YouTube from Muziic. Optionally, registered users may log in with their accounts in Muziic Player, and log playback information to their My Muziic Profile, where they may create "widgets" displaying their recently played songs, and total number of plays.

Whether users are listening to all of their favorites in Muziic Player, creating their own uploads in Muziic Encoder, discovering great music in our Channels or Playlists directory, or just hanging out in the forums, Muziic.com brings the music community together like never before.
