cannot print a mail with windows live

Hello,
I can not print a mail with windows live mail.
In fact every time I want to print I have a window that opens with the following message:

Script error in Internet Explorer
an error occurred in the script on this page
Online: 2021
Character: 1
Error: Unspecified.
Code: 0
URL: ieframe.dll ...

It seems that Windows Mail printing works off IE's printer settings. Are you able to print from Internet Explorer? Which version of Internet Explorer are you using?

If you can't print from IE, do you get an error message? Can you post that here if you do?

In the meantime, you might like to try resetting IE and also try turning off Protected Mode. Some people have found that doing this will resolve the problem.

Also, what antivirus program are you using? There's a known issue with AVG's mail scanner that can cause this issue and a few others. Take a look at this page. Another thing that can cause it is AVG's mail scanner. Try without the Link Scanner first, and failing that, try reinstalling AVG without the Mail Scanner (using Custom options during setup).

I also found the solution.
If you're interested, let me tell you how I did it.

- Click "Start" then "Run" and type "regsvr32 ole32.dll".
- Click "OK"
- And now you can print your emails.

Without further information, that actually sounds like a Javascript Error. As such it may be a corrupt file. There are a number of Javascript compressed files installed with the install of WLM, without having more information I can't say for sure which one you would need to replace. The easiest option would be to re-install WLM. That should take care of the problem.
