Hello, The problem is (or may be) that some programs that are not specifically designed for Vista dont ask for administrator access when performing certain tasks. Vista doesn't like that. Try right clicking the programs and selecting "run as administrator". Then it should install ok. I had the same problem and it worked for me in all Cases Hope it Work for you too

Under Windows you must launch DxO Optics Pro v5 with an administrator user account in order to successfully install a module. If you do not use an administrator account, the application cannot save the library that comes with the modules. Additionally, if you are using Windows Vista and the User Account Control is activated (which is the default Vista configuration) you will need to launch DxO Optics Pro “as an administrator” in order to launch the application with administrative privileges. To do so, right click on the DxO Optics Pro shortcut on your desktop and select “Run as administrator”. You will then be able to install additional modules and they will be available for use once you restart the application (you do not need to restart it as an administrator, you can restart it normally using the desktop shortcut).

Re: Cannot Install DxO In Windows Vista ?

Good evening everyone after a little time spent in front of my computer, I found the cause of the problem: I disabled a software That is installed on my computer and I found that disabling PC Tools Firewal Plus, the problems had disappeared. DxO I reinstalled and everything works perfectly. this makes twice now that I have problems with a firewal once Outpst pro with 2009 and once with PC Tools firewal more. for the moment I turned that window, until I find another, and yet they were paying! Finally the most important is that everything is working again. Thanks You Guys For You replies
