    Install software without Administrator Rights

    Hello to you,

I am responsible for a project and I created a administrator account and a user not to do anything that is installed on the pc.

Today, i got great surprise, one of my colleagues had managed to install skype and google earth.

Other facilities but windows didn't block them, how is this possible?

    Thank you in advance

Put a strong password on the main, usually hidden Administrator account as well as on all other user accounts (different password for each).

Basically, it is not possible to install a software without a admin rights, but there are some software that doesnt require admin rights to be installed. Apart from that, you can try to login to safe mode with your different account that has no admin rights and try to do the following as suggested by neel23 and check whether it works or not.

There is a way for that which I had used before. First reboot your system and then boot in safe mode. You can do that by pressing F8 continously when your system restarts. From the menu choose safe mode and then create a new admin account from control panel. Once done reboot in normal mode and done. User accounts does not have any privileges to modify system settings.

When I entered in safe mode, I was asked user name and password. As default my name is there in user name, when I entered my password, I'm getting a wrong password message. So how can I enter safe mode without all the login details
