Windows Live Messenger problem on Windows 7

I have installed Live Messenger from the windows live site on Windows 7. After the installation was finished, Windows 7 started to freeze and my mouse and keyboard also didnt work. Now when I am trying to uninstall Live Messenger in Safe Mode it wont uninstall? What should I do. Please help me. Thank you

Which version of WLM are you running? I'm running version 8.1 and it's working fine for me. Temporary fix if this keeps occuring would be to use a different messenger such as yahoo until you find out what's wrong.

Tryt this fix to reduce the display adapter hardware acceleration - not ideal, but it seems to work for now.

Right click the desktop, select "Change Resolution", click on the "Advanced settings" link, go to Troubleshoot tab, click "Change settings" button, move the slider left to the third notch and click OK.

There are major problems with WLM on Windows 7. Expect a new build of WLM to become available. No time frame, but MS is aware of the problems.
