Which version of Nero for Windows Vista?

Hello all
Burning is not my thing, but I have a light nero 6 that came with my recorder and I would like to know if it behaves well with vista. If not what software freeware (preferably in English) do you recommend me for easy use and basic? Because Nero 9 is very costly. Thank you all

there's a lot of freeware to burn correctly, but is unlikely to advanced, just cd / data cd / dvd data and VCD (and more). Free Easy CD DVD Burner is nice.
(Otherwise Nero 9 works fine using "freeware" but with minimal options)

Worth experimenting with.

DVD Maker is for making video disks with it's own procedures, it is not a dedicated burning program, it is an ancillary program. It can do "the basics". That would be my expectation. Note that it is called DVD Maker, I expect it's main purpose is to make video disks from camcorder recordings.
