Hello , You Must First Open the Ods File In Open Office Software As it open office proprietary format And So After Opening it You Will need To save It Excel .xls extension Which will Obviously Work With Microsoft Excel 2007 . Open Office gives the user that choice when the file is saved.Hope it Help You thanks Best of Luck

Hey Download this OpenXML/ODF Translator Add-in for Office The goal for this project is to provide translators to allow for interoperability between applications based on ODF (OpenDocument) 1.0 standards and Microsoft OpenXML based Office applications.

In other words, if your software doesn't open OD*, you need new software.

Also note that one office suite, OpenOffice, can open the proprietary formats of any of the major office programs.

There are two simple steps to open an ods document in Microsoft Excel:

    1.- Uninstall Microsoft Office
    2.- Install Open Office

But, if you are not sure, you can avoid the first step and go direct to the second.

PD: Later, you can do the first step, when you are cleaning your computer...
