Problem while closing Word file

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my MS Office, whenever i try to close word file i am getting an error message.It is saying the file is in use by another application or user, i had a check of it there is no another instance using it.Can any one help me out with this issue.

You are getting this message because normal.dot file is a virus for that you only need to change the file name.

To search and rename normal.dot file use the following steps:-

1. Double-click on My Computer.
   
2. Type normal.dot in search box and enter on search.
   
3. You will get lots of Files over there now you need to rename the files.
   
4. Right-click on the file which you need to rename and select on Rename.
   
5. Rename the files to abnormal.dot, normal1.dot, or anything you like. Keep in mind that it should not be normal.dot
