    Hi,

You can boot on a usb key with GParted, explanations on the site of GParted: http://gparted.sourceforge.net/liveusb.php page where it tells you how to make your bootable usb key, whether manually (see "choice 2") or through a program designed for that purpose (see "choice 1"). If you want to prepare the usb key from Windows, the procedure "Extract files and make bootable USB flash drive under MS windows", if it is from a Linux, "Extract files and make bootable USB flash drive under GNU / Linux".
