Unable to burn data in DVD-R

Hi! I'm using Nero 6 Ultra Edition CD burner but i can't burn any files into
DVD-R. Everything works fine with DVD+/-RW, DVD+R, CD+/-R and CD+/-RW.
In a few seconds after starting burining an error shows up - "Burn process failed at 12x (16 620 KB/s)". What may cause this?

try to check more information while error occurs also try on 8x to wright dvd .
also check whether it perform write operation for cd correctly or not.

Try Un-install all CD writing software - In my case it was Nero, Pinnacle and RecordNow DX - Reboot.Delete the following folders if still present - "C:\Program Files\Ahead" "C:\Program Files\Pinnacle" "C:\Program Files\VERITAS Software" - if "C" is where you installed them.
