Indeed bizarre -> that it is not in "Program Files"
Download CCleaner on the desktop: http://forums.techarena.in/tips-tweaks/533699.htm

Once on the desktop, click on the install of CCleaner.
    - But before you click on "install", uncheck all "options".
Then click on "Options", "Advanced" and uncheck the box ---
"Clear only files, the Windows Temp folder, older than 48 hours."
Click the "cleaner" then "Start Cleaning".
-> Then click on the icon registry, right click on "Search errors" then click "Repair errors selected.

Accepts the safeguard of the BDR (the registry) that it proposes.
I advise you to return at least twice (until it finds more errors.)

    then download -> RegCleaner

Left column -> lines that correspond to WLM
Click below to the right -> Delete Selections

    restart your PC

    try reinstalling WLM
if no results -> post a log of Hijackthis: HijackThis - How to use HijackThis? What it dose?

Re: Little problem with Live Messenger

Is this the last live messenger 9? if so try to uninstall in Add Remove Programs (confiuration Panel / Add Remove Programs)

Try to reinstall. If it doesnt work then use this solution:

First, you must install Windows Installer Cleanup. Once installed, run it.

Then, open the Start menu "=>" All Programs "=>" Windows Install Clean Up. "

This software will list all the programs installed on your computer using Windows Installer. Select Windows Live Beta (All Programs), then click "Delete" or "Delete"

Now you can reinstall Windows Live Messenger through the installation of Windows Live products.
