Error Downloading Codec

Hi,
I have recently bought a movie Dvd and i am trying to Play in Windows Media Player over here i am getting an error message as "Error Downloading Codec".Can anyone help me out with this issue.

I was also facing the same issue.
Try to Follow this Steps:-

1. In the Windows Player, Click on the Tools tab, click Options.
   
   
2. On the Player tab, select the Download codecs automatically check box.

I worked for me hope it will work for you too.

Try to Open the Software in VLC PLayer you won't get the Error Message.

Either play the DVD with VLC Player, or download a codec pack seperately. Various codec packs are available like XP Codec, K-Lite Codec, FFDShow... and others.
