Creating VOB files & DVD

Hi,
I have some video files in .flv format & i want to edit those cartoon short films & make a DVD for my kid.
Now the problem I have converted those .FLV files into VOB files but am not able to make a DVD of my files.
I have already wested 4 DVD's & no success till now.
IS there something i am missing or I need to do something else I was using Nero 6 for this but still having problem please help me.

Well I think try to use a good converter for the conversion.
Sometimes this may happen due to a bad converter.
Try using good converters like ImTOO etc

Well thanks for the reply but can you tell me why m not being able to view my DVDs?
Why the conversion is so bad? OR how can i play this movie on DVD player I just want a format that my DVD player can read & play the file.
