    Cd restore hp d530

    Hello all,

    I just bought a PC HP D530.
Windows XP Pro is installed, I have the license number. Before you install something on the PC, I would take advantage of the fact that it is "clean" to restore a CD in order to reinstall XP if needed.
My question is: how do the cd? Do I get software? Is there 1 manip to do?

    Thank you

Usually, during the first use of the PC, a window suggest you immediately create a DVD backup restore the basic configuration, in case of problems.

If this is not the case, there can be a software pre-installed on your machine that will allow you to create this DVD. I advise you to contact the customer service of HP

    no, not exactly.

You should have in the start menu access to Recovery programs, which allow you to create CDs or DVDs restoration.

These CD or DVD you will return to the original configuration, when buying the PC.

The ghost-type programs, they create an image of hard when you start the programs ghost. If there are viruses, or other, they will also be copied.

In both cases, the systems allow you a "reinstallation" fast, but in the case of a ghost, it must be at least attention.
