Problem using winchat

Hi all
I want to use winchat to chat with friends over a LAN in my office. The problem is is, it doesn't dial any computer even if winchat is started on both computers. Any idea where I am doing wrong?

Check your networking settings and make sure you have administrator privelages over your network. Also, make sure you can use the NetBIOS Messaging service.

services.msc > Messenger Service

I've checked and Messenger service is started. but still nothing happening

You must have Chat running or have the Network DDE service started to answer a call. To start Network DDE service, click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click Administrative Tools. Double-click Computer Management, double-click Services and Applications, and then double-click Services. In the details pane, click Network DDE. On the Action menu, click Start.

To have the Network DDE service start automatically every time you start your computer, click Start, click Control Panel, click Performance and Maintenance, and then click Administrative Tools. Double-click Computer Management, double-click Services and Applications, and then double-click Services. In the details pane, click Network DDE. On the Action menu, click Properties.In general tab select startup type as automatic and click start.
