    Prefetch folder problem

I accidentally moved some .rar files to the XP Prefetch folder. Now when i try to move them back I get the message "Access is denied". I tried to copy them, rename them, even delete them. Nothing works.

How can I move these files?

clean up the temp files for all your net browsers, and run a disk clean up and dump everything that has crap in it. then go to
    C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch
and delete everything in the folder, reboot and see if you can get rid of it. hope that helped.

Do not delete the files in the prefetch folder. They are created by the system. Deleting the files will free up disk space, but u'll end up with a slower system.

I don't want to delete the .rar files. I want to be able to use them.
