Hello to everyone,
I come here to ask for help because I can not solve this problem alone.
Recently I formatted my hard drive, and I reinstall my version of Windows XP (official). I installed the drivers (it certainly should not be very recent, but it worked well before my formatting), and I also install the XP codec pack generally useful for WMP.
Nevertheless, when I launch a video with Windows Media Player or even with VLC, I find myself with a black background, however, with sound (I have not lost everything ^ ^)
In searching the net, I saw that it could be that I did not reinstall DirectX, so I install DirectX 9.0c, but I always have the same result.
Strange things, everything works well with Windows Media Player Classic (sound and image), and also, when I run VLC and WMP one after the other, sound and image are present in the second run.
I want your help to solve this problem.
Thanks in advance for any answers.
