cant install a camera

i have a digital cammera but because my windows is bugged cant install the driver(setup from cd give a error)

if im inserting camera in USB without installing driver, can i dowload the images?

My camera name is Powershot sx100 is. I google it but can find drivers so easy, even on official site are stupid downloads but not a clear link with the driver. Can some1 help? i bought this cammera to make pictures of pieces from my computer lol, because my comp have problems..

I think that the setup file from the cd is corrupted.
Btw what error message does it give when you try to install drivers from your cd for the camera?
Try searching on google for this Powershot sx100 camera drivers.

the cd isnt corrupted, on other computers i can. I emailed canon and they answer the full driver bla bla isnt avaible for download. Thanks for links, i know these links but i dont think there are the stuff i need or i get error too. They learned me how to download files from camera without cd... (but i can make movies and stuff too...)

my computer problem cant be resolved, i tried 1 month all stuff and sites, when i have time ill buy other drive (because this problem dont let me format the drive too....)

here on first post is a picture with the error i get constantly when windows start and after, when i open any stuff, and my comp freeze few seconds and cant open what i want (like the setup from cd, even if i copy to hard)

The error isnt always and i can use my computer, is especially first hour, later seems to be more rare (sry my english)
Looking in error log it say some like Shell error and explorer need to close (shell i heard is explorer)
On picture isnt clear the text on bar, there is "explorer exe-aplication error"
I think the cause was initially a conflict between acdc and the thumbnails from explorer, but no sure. ISNT Virus or spy, i know to deal with these and i installed many antyspy and runned all online antiviruses
I tried sfc scan to verify windows install too. Cant repair windows cuz error when boot from cd

There seems to be problem in CD drive itself. The fact that the CD runs perfectly on other computers strongly indicates that the CD is not corrupted while there is some problem in your CD drive. Also it cannot boot from CD which also signifies this doubt.

There can also be Bios problems, cant say exactly. Check with another CD drive attached to this computer to check whether CD drive is corrupted or not.

i see the link was removed from last reply, so ill post again the picture, but i say again, i gave up, ill buy another drive or ill format c from windows (how i do that?) if cant boot from cd. Now im speaking about my windows bug not about dvd-rom
