Nvidia has just released a new version of its latest drivers for GeForce graphics cards, to 178.13, which are now stamped WHQL, meaning that we arrive at a finalized version and validated by Microsoft. Sent to owners of family cards GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9 and GTX 200, GeForce 178.13 drivers integrate software component dedicated to the management of the PhysX (version 8.09.04).
Among other features, these drivers include support for 2-way SLI and 3-way cards for the GT200 series on motherboards Intel D5400XS. Nvidia also evokes the many bugs fixed for 3D applications, and improved performance in the range of 10 to 15% in single GPU under 3DMark Vantage, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock or Call of Duty 4. In SLI configuration, there is a gain of approximately 10% in Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts, Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and World in Conflict.
