Corrupt word document

Is there any way i can open a currupt word document?
PLese help me the file is important & i can't open it why?

I think your document extension must have been changed.
See what is it's extension? It must be (*.doc)

Well thanks but its extension is d.doc only but still unable to open the document!

Ya you cam open corrupt word document with MS words "Open and repair" tool.
follow steps.........
launch MS word
on file mane click on Open
select corrupt files
in open dialog box you will get "open and repair option"
click on it

your document will be repaired. If it can not fix your problem then use third party word repair software.
