As every year, or almost, Roxio, a subsidiary of Sonic Solutions, announces the newest version of its software suite burning, Roxio Creator. The 2009 vintage opens with few fundamental changes first name simplified Roxio Creator, but also a version number corresponding to the next year. In parallel, and this is probably more substantial, the software uses now. NET FrameWork 3.5 and the WPF layer for a graphical interface partially renewed. The launcher tasks resumed a busy graphical interface (but slow) reminiscent of Roxio Central, a demo version output to illustrate the capabilities of Windows Vista in terms of graphical interface.
In terms of new features, Roxio Creator 2009 gives pride of the media with the implementation of Roxio Online, a service of sharing online videos and photographs in order to more easily share digital content, particularly in the form of slide shows. Roxio said that Roxio Online service is free although some advanced features can be paid while the applications and VideoWave CineMagix MediaManager and offer direct access to the service said. In the same vein, Roxio proposes the release of videos on YouTube while the editor opens SyncIt, a module for automatic conversion of videos to mobile format of their choice (iPod, PSP, iPhone, etc.).
Side high definition, Creator 2009 offers always burning of HD content on media standards such as DVD while a plug-in HD / BD can burn directly on Blu-ray. The audio portion of the suite was also treated with a function to convert a single file to an audio book stored on CD while Beatmatching is emerging to help the creation of melted chained synchronized music on compilations. Available now in final French version, Roxio Creator 2009 is proposed to the retail price of 79.99 euros TTC while the plug-in Blu-ray is charged 19.99 euros TTC.
