How to remove vista icon's

I recently installed Vista Transformation Pack to make my XP look like Vista but I noticed that it uses a lot of RAM. So I removed it from my rig and it was successfully removed without any problem. But I found the Vista icons remained as XP's default icons and I don't know how it happened. I tried system restore but still no go. How can I remove these icon's and get the XP's default one?

Probably you need to reinstall your OS. Vista Transformation Pack may have overwritten the registry files which can be causing you these issue.

Scan your computer for viruses or spywares. It could be some malicious program that is causing this issue.
