It'll behave nicely, but there some differences and enhancments.

Thanks for the feedback, I wasn't sure whether we had to have a 2008
DC first but looks like this is not the case. I will give it a go and
test to see how it integrates.
We will be running a few instances of SQL 2005 at first and SQL 2008
later on. I've seen that it is currently supported with a couple of
minor issues that will not affect us.
