    Re: Windows server 2008 HCL

Is there a software available in the market through which we can test out compatibility of different hardware on the basis of OS. I have a very old windows server environment. There are 40pc which are connected. We had not faced problem till now but planing to upgrade it to the newer version. Before doing that it is necessary to find out which hardware is going to work more properly. In case of error it will be a waste of time to find solution. So before that only I want a good tool that can give me detailed information on various hardware compatibility.

There is no tool available like that. In order to properly upgrade your entire network you have to discuss with some expert show is good in computer hardware stuff. Recently I had tried to upgrade my office where we have around 12 system. All of them were on Windows Vista. I upgraded the entire system with Dual core cpu and also upgraded the server. I had configure multiple raid drivers on it. It took time to make this proper like before, due to lack of appropriate drivers and applications. Fortunately my friend helped me out in dealing with this.
