    WDS capture questions

I am testing WDS to capture a winxp image.

I have setup a boot image using the Vista boot.wim and from that choosen
'create capture boot image' I called it 'windows XP' and put it in a temp
folder. I then created a boot image from this capture boot image and called
    it 'capture windows XP'.

My PXE machine (high spec and sysprepped) F12 boot to WDS but then take
about 45 minutes 'loading files' to get to the WDS capture screen, I choose
my 'Capture Windows XP' image but it errors with:
0xc000001 The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible.
Why does it take so long to load and what is this error?
    Thanks

I had this same problem when I first started using WDS, I never found
the cause but when you get the error, "0xc000001 The boot selection
failed because a required device is inaccessible." Press "Enter to
Continue" and reselect your capture image and it should go through, also
try rebuilding your "Operating System" "Builds" and "Deployment Point"
i.e. start your WDS Server over from scratch, re-add and update your
deploy point. That cured my problem.

    Hope this helps.
