    How to remove a cluster

    Hello all,

i set up a SQL cluster last week. and to make a long story short, we are not
going to use a sql cluster for our implementation. so my question is how to i
    get rid of the cluster?

    all w2k3 environment.

    any help is greatly appreciated.

    regards,
    Dan

Uninstall SQL 2000 for every instance. Evict the nodes. Nuke and path the
    machines.

Re: How to remove a cluster

Uninstall the SQL instances, stop the cluster service and evict nodes until
you're down to one left. Then just evict the last node. No need to rebuild
the servers as the service is installed out of the box with W2K3.

If you want to, you can also go clean up the DNS record(s) and computer
object(s) in AD, but this is not necessary.
