    Deleting - Printed in queue

    Hello All,

I am having a problem with printers on Windows 2003 R2 SP2. When a user
prints a document it prints and remains in the queue with the status of
"Deleting - Printed". Some of the printers do it and some do not. I have
tried to delete and recreate the print queue and also use different print
drivers with no avail. Also, the option of "Keep printed documents" is not
checked and users have permissions to delete their own documents from the
    queue folder.

Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong?

    Hello Adam,

    Thank you for using newsgroup!

From your post, please let us know which printers have this issue in the
    printer server.

If you are using HP printers, the issue may occur if this driver by HP
needs access to the windows\temp directory. We can add everyone to the temp
directory full control to test the issue.

    Thanks & Regards,

RE: Deleting - Printed in queue

    Hi

Dunno if this thread is still alive but I have a simmilar problem running
    Server 2003 SP1.

After having set up 2 new Lexmark printers, one of the queues r not deleting
    fished printjobs.

We have 10 printers running from this server and the others r having no
problems. As I said 2 printers r identical, using same drivers but 1 is not
    deleting the jobs.

The jobs remain in queue with "sent to printer" status.

The "keep printed documents" setting under advanced tab is NOT enabled.

What RLY bugs me is - why the one and not the other ????

    Any ideas ???

    /Jannik
