Task Scheduler General page initialization failed

I have a auxilliary 2003 SP2 Server that underwent a forced demotion from
Active Directory. I manually cleaned up after using the KB articles, and
later re-promoted the server, and everything appears to work fine, except...

Trying to schedule a Volume Shadow Copy on the server generates no errors,
but won't run automatically (I can run one manually).

Trying to edit the task generates the error:
"General page initializaiton failed. The specific error is: 0x8007000d: The
data is invalid. An error has occurred attempting to retrieve task account
information. You may continue editing the task object, but will be unable to
    change task account information."

Following the instructions in KB822904, I've demoted, deleted the tasks,
promoted and recreated them without success. Deleting all tasks and
attempting to recreate them doesn't work either.

    I understand there's a utility called SYSTASKFIX.EXE available, but I cannot
find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this machine is
the main file server and I often need to pull off an earlier version of a
    file for a user.

    Thanks all,
    Al Marklin

RE: Task Scheduler General page initialization failed

    Solved the problem thusly:

Jan, I don't know if you've solved your problem, but I was able to finally
get everything working thanks to a tip from a user on this board. Try

    1. Delete the offending "SYSTEM" account tasks in Task Scheduler.
    2. Stop the Task Scheduler
    3. Delete all files in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
    Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-18
    4. Restart the service (I'd restart the server as soon as possible, too).

Hope this helps others out there struggling with the problem
