I'm trying to install Server 2003 on a Dell XPS200 but the hard drive isn't
recognized. I downloaded the SATA drivers for XP from the Dell
site and stuck them on a floppy and hit F6 during the Server 2003
install to load a mass storage driver. I get a list of about 7 different
choices, but all of them cause errors when selecting them. I assume
this is the wrong format for the sort of disk that the install is looking
for. Any idea where to get this disk? The SATA controller shows
as the following under XP Pro:
Intel 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controller-270P
Inter 82801GR/GR SATA AHCI
The errors I get after selecting the appropriate controller are:
File \iaStor.sys caused an unexpected error (4101) at line 2335 in
d:\srvrtm\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c
