I need to know what the timeout parameters are for when a Windows 2000/2003
server locks the servers with the last login.

What do you mean? Screensaver lock? Or account lockout? There's no default
on either - you'd set this yourself via policy.
I'm sorry I mean how long for the server to lock the screen , if I drop off
the server and come back later it's screen is locked with my login. Is there
a local policy for this or reg setting. I couldn't find it in local security
policy.

Are you using AD?
Are you using Terminal Services (or RD) or are you logging in at the
physical console?
What does "drop off" mean?

I meant by 'dropff' if I connect via Dameware remote connection or if I am at
the console and just leave without locking it. Just looking for default
timeout before it locks the screen, either in the registry or local sec
policy.
No AD , this is standalone server
No Term Services either.
thanks

Then check out the screensaver settings in the display properties.

It is just the Screensaver timer.
