    Hi,
We have a server windows server 2003 sp2 standard edition. We want to install
iis.For this if we cliked add and remove windows components in this iis
option missed. Then I checked file c:\WINDOWS\inf\sysoc.inf in this IIS is
not hide. Then i tried from manage your server wizard from admintools then
also IIS not installing only giving finish option and giving message iis not
installed in this machine. Then we tried for O.S repair after clicking second
repair option its giving error messsage no hard disk found please check your
hard disk. Then we restarted the machine but existed os is loading .Then we
desided to clean install while installing we pressed enter given error "no
hard disk found please check your hard disk".Then also we restarted the
machine but existed os booting .Hard disk is good working fine. Please advice.

    Thanks in advance

If your drive controller is not natively supported then you'll want to boot
the Windows 2003 installation media. Then *F6* very early and very important
(at setup is inspecting your system) in the setup to prevent drive
controller detection, and select S to specify additional drivers. Then later
you'll be prompted to insert the manufacturer supplied Windows 2003 driver
for your drive controller in drive "A"
