Remove Run As Administrator for Users

We set a Group policy for Users not to be able to install or run certain programs without an Administrator however; we noticed certain users Running/installing software by clicking the Run As Administrator. How can i lock this down? Thanks for your time.

Not sure you can, but why would users know administrator passwords? That's
what I'd worry about, and stop.

    Hello Jayko,

    Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Software Restriction
Policies, right-click on this node and select New Software Restriction Policies,
then right-click on Additional Rules and select New Path Rule. Now type the
path to runas.exe and make sure the policy is set to disallowed.

But why do your users know the administrator password, either domain or local?
    This you should really change.

    Best regards

yeah apparently on some of the older computers there was never a local admin account password set so the users where using run as administrator locally. I took care of that now, thank you all for all the help. Cheers
