    PrcViewer removal

    Hi

Don't know if i'm in the right discussion group.

When McAfee does a system scan it finds a PUP called PrcViewer. I
understand this program can have its uses, (although i'm not sure i
understand what they are) and is usually downloaded with other programs. I
am not sure where my copy of PrcViewer came from, but i would like to remove
it. Everytime i ask McAfee to delete it, it always says it can't remove it
completely and sure enough on the next system scan PrcViewer is back. Can
someone please help me on how to remove this PUP. I have tried googling it,
and also Windows Defender but so far to no avail. Its in

    C:\System Volume
    Information\_restore{46DE8921-1D39-44D2-A9E9-64119261F211}\RP143\A0038337.exe

I have Windows XP Professional installed

    Thank You

    Re: PrcViewer removal

    Thanks Tom

I had already been on the vil.nai page on McAfee but it didn't have my
version of McAfee on the page, which was very unhelpful

But Bleeping computer helped. PrcVewer has now gone

    Thank you
