    IN windows firewall,What does the "Edge traversal" mean?

    Am using Windows XP computer at my Office. Today I was just checking the files and options in my Firewall. While doing the same I through something named "Edge traversal". I have never heard about this before.

    Can you guys please tell me what is it actually?

    Edge traversal is a network stuff that is required when a NAT is taken place and the addresses need to be accessed either inbound or outbound and hence the device needs to know how to forward packets. You can get more info about this on Google.

    Hello Czack, can you please tell me what exactly is your Windows Version also if there is any service packs installed?
