Group policy still applying even though disable on domain

I had disabled a group policy in my system. But it is still applicable. I thought by disabling the same it will stop making any kind of changes. The problem lies with the default domain policy and it is still very annoying. I cannot find permanent solution to disable that. I am using Security Configuration and Analysis tool to create changes in my system. I had see that changes are applied but somehow it is not at all applicable. I had made them modification in .sdb file. But somehow it is not at all applied.

I had removed the default domain policy and also the domain. But still somehow the policy is working. I am bit confused about the same problem that you are facing. If we stop the policy then this might not work at all. I am doing that by disabling GPO. What I found that it is not possible to get back on the startup settings. It is better if you start creating your own policies and then applying that one. I am working on the same and will let you know more on the work around.

If there is no major problem then you can simply remove the policy. It would be better and will help you to block stuff which is not really needed. You can do that easily. Just go on Group Policy and then in settings choose the policy and disable that. This is the only basic procedure that really works.
