Active Directory / DNS freezes on Preparing Network Connections Screen

My DNS servers have stopped working from some time. When I start them they freezes for around a hours on preparing network connections screen. I tried to boot it back and also check for errors. But cannot locate anything in it. I thought it would be working fine on reboot. But something happened recently. I checked the logs and found a series of errors. It might take really long time to fix them all.

Verify the netlogon.dns and netlogon.dnb files. I had worked on a server before which has the same kind o issue. The problem lies with AD replication. The files that I had mentioned were corrupt and due to which the same error appear. To fix the problem you have to stop dns and netlogon service first. Just rename those files and start the server back again. The problem will be resolved.
