HTC has finally announced the models of HTC One E9 and HTC One E9+, the latter with a 5.5-inch qHD display and a MediaTek processor.
HTC group took advantage of the weekend to unveil a new series of smartphones in China which includes HTC One E9 model and variant phablet of HTC One E9+. The latter is characterized by the presence of a display of 5.5-inch QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels).
In terms of design, the device is very similar to HTC One M9 presented in March at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona, with a metal finish on the front but a plastic back cover. On board there is a MediaTek MT6795 processor that is present and is associated with 3GB of RAM.
The phablet has 16 GB of storage space, with possibility of extension via a microSD port, and has a 20 megapixel camera on the back and an Ultrapixel module facade. The HTC One E9+ has a 2800 mAh battery, allowing it to retain a small thickness of 7.49 mm.
The smartphone is compatible with 4G and carries two SIM card slots. These characteristics suggest that it is the HTC One M9+ smartphone which was in many rumors in recent weeks.
The HTC One E9 is classic with a Full HD display, 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel camera on the back. The HTC One E9/One E9+ series seems to be only for the Asian market, although some leaks have suggested that the HTC One E9+ will be a European variant.
