Nvidia is preparing GM200-Based GeForce GTX 980 Ti graphics card
Nvidia is preparing its GeForce GTX 980 Ti, GeForce GTX Titan X lite, but above all they are much cheaper.
While Maxwell Family 28 nanometers now includes Nvidia graphics cards GeForce GTX 980 and GeForce GTX Titan X, some obviously expect the model GeForce GTX 980 Ti interposed between.
Well, it turns out that the technical characteristics of the latter are leaked, citing a GM200 core with 3072 processors which operates at 1126 MHz in classic mode or 1216 MHz in Turbo mode, as well as a 6GB GDDR5 memory interfaced in 384-bit and clocked at 7GHz. They also suggest a maximum consumption of 250 Watts.
On paper, then there will be a GeForce GTX Titan X that comes with 6GB video and private memory of double precision calculation (reserved for Titan models) but with frequencies revised upwards.
At the checkout, the bill will be lightened too, since it would cost only $699 for the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, while it costs $999 for the GeForce GTX Titan X. With such a price difference, no doubt some are easily deprived by the technology showcased. Especially if the partners are, this time, allowed to propose their own overclocked versions.
Still on NVIDIA, please note that our news about the solution of Quadro M6000 has been updated. It now has its price. And, yes, it stings the eyes.
