Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to sell over 50 million units in 2015
The warm welcome received by the Galaxy S6 during its presentation hopes for a volume of 50 million units sold this year.
The smartphone Galaxy S6 and its variant Galaxy S6 Edge must build on the success of the series of reference smartphone of Samsung Galaxy S and presentation at the MWC 2015 in Barcelona has unveiled devices passing a metal shell and glass and with a stretched display slices for the Edge model.
Both smartphones have been well received by the operators who have decided to pre-order 20 million units ahead of its launch in early April, 2015.
This good reception supposed for the smartphone led analysts to revise their estimates of the volume of the Galaxy S6 passing this year and the consensus now is above 50 million units.
Observers of DRAMeXchange said that Samsung could well pass 22 million units of its new smartphone in the second quarter of 2015, more than 5 million units compared to its previous estimate and 16 million in the third and last at least 12 million appliances to the end of the year.
Let's see if the combination of design and functionality of Galaxy S6/S6 Edge that attracted the press and analysts will result in early March although a strong public demand to the point of forgetting the disappointment of the Galaxy S5 last year.
