It is the turn of the HP group to embark on the niche of 12-inches shelves with HP Pro Slate 12 Android model and offering HP Duet Pen.

While a tablet of iPad Pro with over 12-inch screen is expected shortly at Apple, the faithful of the Android ecosystem decline their own vision of the touch pad with rather large oriented professionals.

The HP group announced a new tablet called HP Pro Slate 12 featuring a 12.3-inch display with resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels in a format of 4:3 and carrying a family processor of Snapdragon 800 (logically Snapdragon 801) supplied by Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM.

It is accompanied by an HP Pro Slate 8 Tablet carrying a 7.9-inch display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels in 4: 3 format protected by Gorilla Glass 4. The two tablets are announced as measuring less than 8 mm thick and format of 4:3 that wants to facilitate the consultation of documents.

The two tablets run on Android 4.4 KitKat exploit and profit from an HP pre-installed applications justifying their career. They are also provided with an HP Duet Pen using integrated digital writing technology to Snapdragon processors and environmentally compatible with HP Blended Reality Ecosystem.

The stylus to write on the screen of the tablet or capture handwriting and diagrams drawn on paper of HP Paper Folio. The HP Pro Slate 12 Tablet is announced at a price of 569 dollars while the HP Pro Slate 8 model will be offered to 449 dollars.
