Pinnacle Africa company will offer a new smartphone on the African market. It will be a model for Windows Phone.
Africa is one of the unsaturated markets and thus remain to be conquered for smartphone manufacturers. The billionaire Timothy Tebeila has understood this, positioning itself in the niche last year to propose models made in Africa.
But he is not alone in tackling this market. The local distributor Pinnacle Africa has just unveiled a smartphone of Proline SP4 with Windows Phone 8.1 that will be available on 30 January and sold the equivalent of 75 euros.
With this model, we take advantage of a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor coupled with 512 MB RAM (SoC Snapdragon 200), two SIM housing, a 4-inch screen, 800 x 480 pixels, camera sensors of 0.3 and 5 megapixels, a flash memory of 4GB expandable with MicroSD and a battery of 1920 mAh. All in dimensions of 12.5 x 6.4 x 1.1 cm and weighing 125 grams.
The data sheet is not without any recall for a Win JR Blu Products. Normal, since we are dealing with a rebadged model.
