After BlackBerry Passport and BlackBerry Classic, the Canadian manufacturer may prepare a mid-range smartphone known as a codename called BlackBerry Rio.
The Canadian manufacturer BlackBerry reorganizes and gradually shifted its activities and its production of smartphones in the mid/high-end and professional target. The consequences of this restructuring are visible with the launch of BlackBerry Passport smartphone and most recent BlackBerry Classic.
Another model could soon make its appearance, with a mid-range positioning. The first information about a BlackBerry Rio smartphone have indeed emerged and could correspond to a future BlackBerry Z20.
According to preliminary information, it would have a 5-inch 720p display and a Qualcomm MSM8960 (Snapdragon S4 Pro) dual core processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of memory storage, expandable with microSD port.
On the back, we should find a 8 megapixel camera and a 2 megapixel camera on the front. The BlackBerry Rio would also be a 4G/LTE smartphone with WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 embedding a 2800 mAh non-removable battery.
The site adds N4BB rendering of the supposed BlackBerry Z20, the characteristics and design are not without thinking about the evolution of the BlackBerry Z3. A launch in the first half of 2015 is considered.
