The case begins to make noise and raises a soft hint of scandal. For several days, users of the online video platform Machinima received an email warning that the latter publisher Activision has launched a hunt for videos presenting the bugs plaguing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Rather than go to war against the bugs of its title and correct them before the official release of the game, Activision launches into a conflict with the players who have the audacity to make videos with the defects of title and who publish them over the internet.

"Recently, Activision was particularly vigilant regarding videos of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. If you publish videos highlighting these glitches, your system may be capable of receiving a warning, so thank you for noticing it" Machinima shows to its users.

The glitches are bugs or flaws in a game that can perform actions that are not found in the base to become invincible, have infinite ammo, walking through walls, etc. Generally, these bugs are used in part line to gain an advantage over other players.

Generally, all publishers penalize players who take advantage of glitches, whether known or not. Activision would do the cleaning and put the pressure right out of the game title to ensure fair and healthy online play to all players.

Hosting video platforms show the game and go in the direction of Activision, sanctions range from neutralizing the offending video, the neutralization of the entire chain of the user. Activision poses the weight of copyright to carry out its work.

For some users, the battle launched not only aims to censor broadcast glitches but would be wider. It would aim also videos presenting the few bugs that are present in the game.

Activision has recently addressed the success of its title surprisingly, without giving any figures while the franchise is subject to the establishment of records for each new episode. The success of Advanced Warfare would thus not be as important as the last title, and it will not be the revelation of bugs or glitches that taints the reputation of the game, as it is currently the case for Assassin's Creed Unity.
