CD Projekt RED has announced that additional content will be available following the launch of the highly anticipated game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The special feature is that the DLC will be free and accessible to everyone.

Development company CD Projekt RED has always been against some aberrations such as DRM in PC games, as well as the introduction of paid DLC.

Also, the firm has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have 16 DLC that will be distributed progressively on all platforms (PC, PS4 and Xbox One).

This additional content will simply be free and can be picked up by everyone. No one will be asked to preorder the game to enjoy it, since any buyer can freely download the dlc packs.

Several DLC packs will be available from the day of the launch. The first pack will include Témérienne armor, a selection of beards and hairstyles for Geralt, a outfit for Yennefer and a single unique contract "Missing Miners". Other deals will be offered every week during the month of March 2015.
