The Xiaomi MiPad tablet may soon have a little sister with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chip and 64-bit compatible processor.

Manufacturer of smartphones, the Xiaomi group is also interested in tablet PCs. Between a touch interface MIUI and a first tablet MiPad launched in spring whose sources of inspiration are looking at iOS and Apple's iPad, the Chinese brand began to take its first steps in this segment.

It may well be accompanied by a little sister soon, if we are to believe from the benchmark software GFXBench. Xiaomi's new tablet is expected to propose a 9.2-inch display with HD resolution (1280 x 720 pixels) and it will have a Snapdragon 410 quadcore 1.2 GHz processor combined with 1 GB of RAM.

Xiaomi MiPad mid-range

It will therefore provide a 64-bit compatibility and should have a cellular connectivity, which could go up to 4G. The tablet will also offer 8GB of storage space but should not offer back camera and maybe not in front as well (to be confirmed).

This Xiaomi tablet will therefore be positioned in mid-range while offering a large slab. The benchmark tool suggests the presence of Android 4.4 KitKat is also there but it is likely that it will be equipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop in short term.
