The VisionTek brand has a new USB high performance SSD. Transfer rates can indeed exceed 400 MB/s. So we are dealing with a real fireball.
Called VisionTek USB Pocket SSD, this USB 3.0 high performance can indeed flirt with 440 MB/s write speed and 455 MB/s in reading. It's almost as much as the 2.5-inch SSD for general public and especially better than the vast majority of USB keys now. Among some of them reaching this level of performance include the Corsair Flash Voyager GTX.
Then in terms of capacity, we are offered 120GB or 240GB, enough space to accommodate long-term office documents, photos, music and videos. And to protect potentially sensitive daily deleted data, the choice was made on aluminum hull that will ensure the passage with a certain lightness. Software side finally, the manufacturer provides something for partitioning (public/private or parent/child) data and performing backups.
It will take US $109.99 for the 120GB model and US $174.99 for the 240GB. This is less than the Corsair mentioned above whose rates are lower in writing. Both models will be available from the store brand or resellers partners as Newegg.
