The new Nexus mobile devices should not put forward in a press conference but they will be simply presented via a post on the official Google blog with Android L on board.

The Mountain View giant is expected to announce its new Nexus smartphones and tablets today Wednesday, Oct. 15, on the eve of the Apple keynote that must unveil the new iPad tablet. The date of October 15 is in the air for several days and Forbes says that the smartphone Nexus 6, designed with Motorola, and tablet Nexus 9 developed with HTC, will be well presented tomorrow.

But it will not be a press conference or special event. The two Nexus devices will simply be announced via a post on the official Google blog. A press conference was originally scheduled for Nexus 9 tablet but it was ultimately decided not to make major announcement about it.

However, it is indeed the first mobile device to officially embark Android L. Pre-orders should start on October 17 and the marketing will begin on November 3, as previously envisaged.

The Nexus 9 Tablet of version 16GB will be offered at $399 and 32GB version at $499. There is also still no indication of the availability of Android L devices other than the Nexus 9. Source from Forbes confirms that most of the tablet features are assumed, including the presence of dual core processor of Tegra K1 of Nvidia compatible with 64-Bit.

Furthermore, the absence of metal shell is confirmed in favor of simpler finishes on edges to reduce the final price of the product.
