The firm Acer unveils two PC monitors that will land soon on the market. It is about fine margins and 4K support.
With these PC monitors, wearing references of H257HU and S277HK for respective diagonals of 25 and 27 inches, the Taiwanese descent firm targets multi-monitor configurations. Dressed with aluminum hull, these models benefit indeed from ultra thin bezels.
For the rest, the H257HU model evokes a WQHD definition (2560 x 1440 pixels) with 25-inch screen and a 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels) for the S277HK monitor with a 27 inch diagonal. In both cases, you can enjoy viewing angles of 178 degrees due to an IPS panel.
Sensors will also adjust the brightness of the panel according to the ambient light, to reduce flare and to limit the emission of blue light, in order to control energy consumption and limit the eye fatigue.
In terms of connectivity, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 ports, which will consider the 4K at 60 frames per second (in the case of the 27-inch model) can be found. We also note the presence of a DVI connector.
The availability of these monitors will occur in the coming weeks as expected in the fourth quarter of 2014. No price has been defined yet.
