The ROG brand, behind which there is a reminder from the Taiwanese manufacturer Asus, unveils its new graphics card upscale dubbed as Ares III.

Despite its compact dimensions, the new toy of ROG has two Radeon graphics solutions of R9 290x under the hood. It is thus left with two GPUs, which are more overclocked to 1030 MHz, and twice 4GB GDDR5 512-bit interfaced and clocked at 5000 MHz. The mixture is cooled by water cooling. In terms of connectivity, finally, we have the choice between DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort.

To illustrate the performance of the Ares III, the brand has chosen to evoke Battlefield 4 title with which one can expect 33% more FPS in Ultra HD 4K compared to a GeForce GTX Titan Z and 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme, which indicates 15% of raw performance and more.

On cooling, it indicates a 25% reduction compared to what there is in the Radeon R9 295X read in its reference temperature.

Please note, it will not be available for everyone. Only 500 copies will be placed on the market and numbered. The price was not disclosed. For reference, the dual GPU Radeon R9 295X recently saw its price drop to 1000 euros.
