Lenovo, the brand currently having more products than for the PC world, is also present at IFA 2014 with two new smartphones: the Vibe X2 and Z2.

The manufacturer had made the announcement before the IFA revealing its famous Vibe X2 at Messe Berlin. Billed as a high-end smartphone, the Vibe X2 is advertised as "the first multi-layered smartphone in the world."

In practice, this means that the cover is made ​​of several layers, which enables Lenovo to play on the colors of its smartphone at the edge and will also allow the brand to offer several color variations and accessories for users.

At the side of technical specifications, the Vibe X2 features a Full HD 5-inch screen, a chip integrating MediaTek MT6595 quad-core Cortex A17 and quad-core Cortex A7 and a GPU of PowerVR Series 6. The smartphone supports 4G LTE Category 4 (150 Mb/s). It includes 2GB of RAM, 32GB of memory, 5 and 13 megapixel camera and a battery of 2,300 mAh.

The Vibe X2 will ship with Android 4.4 with a home overlay of Vibe UI 2.0, its price is announced for 400 euros without elaborating.

Lenovo Vibe Z2 and X2 Smartphone

Other smartphone introduced by Lenovo in the lounge is the Vibe Z2, the first 64-bit smartphone from the manufacturer. This phone come with Qualcomm MSM8916 chip, a SoC processor-based AMR Cortex A53 clocked at 1.2 GHz.

The Vibe Z2 is slightly larger than the X2 since its screen display is 5.5 inches diagonally, for a definition of just 1280 x 720 pixels. It includes 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, camera sensors of 8 and 13 megapixels and a 3000 mAh battery. Like the X2, we shall detect Android 4.4 on this phone along with an house overlay, all for a price of 430 euros.
